Food Ingredients

As Australasia’s preferred producer of maize milled products, Corson have specific quality standards. Grain needs to be larger and of a harder texture than maize grown for stock feed. Individual kernels also need to have a flinty endosperm and an easily removed pericarp. Any variation reduces the grit yield. It is for this reason that Corson produce specific food grade hybrids.

Corson also produce dressed popcorn and clean, processed whole corn that is used by corn chip and tortilla manufacturers.

Technical specifications vary between our New Zealand and Australian mills. Please choose the appropriate mill based on your location.
